Benishaka’s strategies focuses on improving the health and nutrition status of vulnerable children (0-59 months) Under five years, school going children and women of reproductive age.

Benishaka’s approaches addresses the leading causes of maternal, newborn, under five child and adolescent illness and mortality.

We have a thirty (30) bed Health Center (Rurenge HC) in Rukomo Sector Nyagatare District which offers medical services to a population of over 15,000 people.

Other Interventions focus on behavioral change, malnutrition screening, cooking demonstrations, community systems strengthening like developing village nutritional plans, and advocacy at individual, family, community and service providers levels.
